How ReachMe handles information
This page is a clear product summary for prototype testers. It should receive formal legal review before a commercial launch.
What the owner provides
ReachMe stores the account email, whether that address has been verified, profile details, and trusted contact information chosen by the owner. A phone number is shown publicly only after the owner explicitly enables it.
Account emails
ReachMe may send transactional messages needed to operate the account, such as email verification and password recovery. These are not marketing messages.
What a finder can see
An active product QR can display the selected public profile, public help message, languages, contact labels, and phone numbers approved for public display. Passwords and activation PINs are never shown.
What ReachMe does not record
The current version does not keep scan history, precise finder location, or device identifiers when a public QR is opened.
Owner controls
Owners can edit or hide contacts, deactivate a tag, change the selected profile, or permanently delete their account. Account deletion retires claimed tags.
